Removing Garlic Odors
To remove the smell of garlic from your cutting board, scrub the board with a paste made of 2 parts baking soda and 1 part water. Rinse well with warm water and allow to air dry.
To remove the smell of garlic from your hands 3 ways:
Rub hands an fingers with a stainless steel bar or other stainless surface under running water.
Rub hands and fingers with coffee grounds for 1 minute before washing hands clean with soap and water.
Rub your hands and fingers with lemon juice and salt (do not choose this method of you have an open sore or cut on your hand.)
To remove garlic odor from you breath, chew on fresh parsley leaves or fennel seeds for 30 – 60 seconds. Or swish a little lemon juice in your mouth or suck on a lemon wedge.
