Spiced Rhubarb Chutney




Mix all ingredients together in a large pot, preferably one with non-stick coating.  Heat on stove on medium heat until rhubarb is very tender and about half of the rhubarb has broken down.  Stirring occasionally and be sure to stir from the bottom of the pot to prevent scorching. This will take about 10 – 15 minutes.  Follow canning instructions for any basic chutney recipe.  This recipe makes enough chutney to fill 5 – 16oz Mason Jars.
